Who just felt the earthquake reported in north England?
I did and it scared the hell out of me, I'm still shocked and had a panic attack. :(

Earthquake felt across northern England as residents describe underground rumble and shaking homes

The British Geological Survey confirmed the reports, saying it happened at a depth of 18km.

Social media lit up as residents of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire described their experiences.

People as far away as Birmingham and Swindon reported feeling the effects.

They described a rumble of about three to five seconds at about 11.15pm.

There were no reports of injuries

Congrats on your first quake! :D

I'll never forget the only earthquake I experienced, years ago. It was 3 point something, and the light shaking and deep rumbling was so exciting! In retrospect I'm surprised none of my pets reacted to it. I checked on them when it happened to see if they were alright, they didn't seem phased at all.

Ha ha, so for the second time in my life I've experienced an earthquake, but didn't realise what it was. It was very mild here - if indeed that was what I felt, no-one else I've spoken to here seems to have noticed much. I just assumed that the neighbours were moving some furniture around or something; I remember being annoyed that they'd be doing something like that so late in the evening. The first time I experienced a quake, many years ago, was in the early hours of the morning and it woke me up and confused me for a bit, then I fell asleep again. I just assumed that a noise had startled me, and that the strange movements were just me being dazed and disoriented from being roused from a dream, until I heard everyone talking about it the next day.
