On this Father's Day, I want to celebrate the greatest fathers on earth: male emperor penguins!

During winter, female emperor penguins eat fish in the Southern Ocean. The males protect the eggs and go without food. Keep in mind that the Antarctic circle experiences polar night during the winter. Those poor penguins go without food or sunlight.

By the way, this is happening right now. It's currently winter in the southern hemisphere.
