uncle sam once again has a cheese glut

WaPo and other news sources have said we have about 1.4 BILLION pounds [700,000 tons] of excess cheese. in the past they have applied quantitative cheesing of about 10% of the excess. I for one, would be willing to buy up some of that extra cheese, for the price of mebbe a buck a pound. I could easily eat a pound of cheese in a week. i don't know why they couldn't send a bunch of it to the schools and prisons/jails/institutions. make a deal with the pizza places, let 'em sell extra cheese pizzas for a special price and they can write it off their taxes. what say the rest of you here?

Shelters for the homeless can be built out of blocks of processed American cheese.They make great bricks,last forever and people can chew on their home when they are hungry.
