With that logic, a President could remove voting rights from a whole segment of society by claiming he doesn't believe voter disenfranchisement is unconstitutional. Or he could declare martial law. Or end habeas corpus. Or doing away with the whole constitution for that matter.

didn't Nixon say to David Frost, "well, when the president does it, that means it is not illegal"? the latest GOP scoundrel in chief is simply cribbing from an earlier scoundrel, both of whom stretched executive privilege to its breaking point. The Dotard chose BK because he was a reliable toady, nothing more. and since Nixon [on at least one occasion] was noted to refer to himself as "sovereign president" we can expect the same from this orange-haired Nixon II [too].

as long as the GOP controls both houses of congress, there will only be more ruskie involvement, not less. as long as the trumpioid supporters and noted ruskie supporters continue to call the shots, the ruskies will basically run things here.
