Lol. Trump supporters sure are going to react like snowflakes to the orange turd getting the treatment he deserves.

No, they didn't at Mussolini - then again, he was actually ya know, scary... Trump is a troglodyte in a clown suit.

A *dangerous* trog in a clown suit. Vindictive. President now because he got pissed at O for making a joke about him. Leaving massive holes in the career civil service, entire agencies understaffed, because he's too vindictive to hire people who didn't vote for him or took a principled stand against him before the election. Packing the Cabinet with rich moron cronies and the courts with judicial illiterates and rapey monsters.

So what do you think he'll cook up for our erstwhile allies, once he gets home and realizes what it meant when they were laughing? I can hardly wait to see...

This is really, really not going to end well.

If he’s vindictive maybe it can inspire Germany and other countries to save us like we saved Germany in the 1940s. One can only dream.

There was no UN in Mussolini’s time.

I remember hearing about this yesterday as, my mom mentioned it to me. I thought to myself the idiot was making hyper egocentric remarks about accomplishments which more or less are inflated with excrement as usual. I feel that the entire U.N. Assembly was probably like "Yet again this idiot thinks he's done something monumental, when in fact he's done nothing honorable nor worthwhile , except except create more division between the various nations and people of this entire planet.

Well, I'm not totally convinced that they were laughing at him----at least, not in the way people think. Here's the thing..... He said "so true"..... Why did he say that? It seems to me that someone said something, and that was the president's response. It seems that they were laughing, maybe, at what was said (what someone in the audience said to our president). Then, when President Trump said "so true", they applauded; so, that, to me, doesn't sound like they were against the president----people don't usually applaud something at which they're against.

The other idea that I had, was that..... When he said "Didn’t expect that reaction", it sounds like he was happy that someone agreed with him, maybe----but then he said: "but that’s okay", and, IMO, it doesn't seem like someone would have said that, if whatever an audience member said, was positive, so I dunno.

The point IS, though----and no one in the MSM is addressing this (I even checked Fox and Breitbart)----why did he say "so true". I feel that if someone would just put in a little extra effort to find-out why he said that (it seems he said it in response to something someone said), then we could know, for sure, at what they were laughing.

1) It's obvious that "so true" was Trump agreeing with himself, it's part of his M.O. It's also why, as you noted, even why right wing news isn't going with it - there's nothing to go with, it's what he always says.

2) "Didn't expect that reaction" - didn't expect people to laugh, "but that's okay" - "laugh at me, I don't care."

He took it pretty well. It was hilarious.

The funniest thing was the way he talked about Iran like it had been written by Netanyahu.

Yeah, I thought of these explanations, too----but, I'm still not convinced. I feel if he was saying something in agreement with himself, most people, I think, would've said "It's true"----like, say, he did his boasting, and somebody laughed, he would've said "It's true", to defend his boasting; but, saying "so true" doesn't fit, IMO.

I think someone said something, and he responded.

And I still don't understand the "but that's okay"----cuz I thought the same as you----but, I'm thinking he might've meant "but that's okay that I didn't expect that reaction". I dunno..... I am so used to, now, NOT believing anything the MSM says----and I've listened to that part of his speech, several times----but, I would think Fox and Breitbart would be the LAST to "follow the leader" in a news story; but, yet, they didn't say anything different.
