State Of Play: Republicans fear Democratic 'blue wave' spreading to once-safe districts

Quote:
Last week, the two women sat in the second row at a campaign event in a martial arts’ studio listening to the Democrat running against Brat, Abigail Spanberger. They nodded in agreement with much of what she had to say.

But the real reason they were there was basic: Donald Trump. They don’t like the president, and they weren’t about to vote for anyone, like Brat, who supports him.

“More than the policy, it’s the animosity he is fostering within the country,” Sneed said of Trump...

Earlier this year, Brat’s seat was considered safe. But if a so-called “blue wave” materializes, it would roll through a district like his, which includes pockets of suburban voters who increasingly have been turning away from Republicans ...

Brat remarked that “women are in my grille no matter where I go.”

If a "Blue Wave" overtakes Congress, I'll be very happy.

You are seriously equating mere property damage by the breaking of some store windows and the burning of an empty car with the murder of Heather Heyer and the injury of 18 others by Trumpian nazis who intentionally ran them down with a car; and with the stroke caused by a criminal assault on the person of a UVA employee. Now, that's just sick.

This thread is about "GOP fears Dem 'blue wave' spreading to once-safe districts", not about your deflecting histrionics over some broken windows. Your hypocrisy reeks.

It's about reatcions reagarding election results. All I asked was if the blue wave fails, will there be the same reactions we saw in 2016-17. It's a simple yes no maybe type qustion that you deflected using histrionics, not me. Which means you're the one actually guilty of hypocrisy here.

Stick to the subject instead of resorting to ad hominems. You both should brush up on your rhetoric skills. Or keep looking bad at it, it's up to you.

It's not a point, it's an erroneous ad hominem evasion.

When all is said and done, after Trump is out, and assuming that gerrymandering and voter suppression disappear completely, what is, in your opinion, the overall future of the GOP?
