I'm not fine with their violence. But as far as ideological murder is concerned, the right has cornered the market, beginning with the world's first terrorist organization, the KKK, through racist lynchings by white mobs, to Dylan Roof's church shooting and the murder of Heather Heyer by the Alt Right at Charlottesville.

Mr Rundo is alleged to have assaulted two protesters, while Mr Laube allegedly punched a journalist in the face.

Mr Rundo travelled to Europe earlier this year with two of those already charged in the Charlottesville case to celebrate the birthday of Adolf Hitler.

The Kentucky senator reiterated his wife's criticism on Tuesday. "When people like Cory Booker say get up in their face ... What he doesn't realize is that for every 1,000 persons who want to get up in your face, one of them is going to be unstable enough to commit violence," Paul said.

And last fall, Paul was attacked and beaten in his yard in Kentucky by his neighbor -- an episode that a Kentucky Democrat joked about earlier this year.

Paul was attending the congressional baseball practice last summer when a gunman opened fire, hitting House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., in the hip and injuring two Capitol police officers and an aide. The episode was very nearly a "massacre," lawmakers said.

You mean where did I get the idea that they're appearntly fake:

"None of the devices harmed anyone, and it was not immediately clear whether any of them could have. While the FBI is examining the possibility that this was a hoax, that hardly means that it is. It only means that the agency that Trump has been tearing down in his speeches and tweets is diligent in exploring all angles.

There's no want in my case. I have no emotional investment. If the situation were reversed I would come to the same conclusion at this time. It seems like a pretty straightforward hoax designed to get the kind of reaction it has garnered. I'm perfectly willing to take into consideration that I might be wrong.

It's clear enough tht the bombs were sent by a MAGAt. All the evidence points to it, and we may know soon enough because the perp printed out his address labels. Everything you print from a color printer (nowadays, practically all of them, even when the object printed is b/w) is traceable to the printer from which it came.

But there's actually another possibility that no one seems to be considering. Although I discount it myself, I present it for the delectation of all the Trumpian conspiracy theorists here, so that no corner remains unturned. What if the bomber is nonpolitical and is targeting bombs at many people as a subterfuge, but in fact is targeting just one person the perp knows for some personal reason and is using all the others just to throw off the investigation?
