A Silicon Valley vibration-analysis business with which I worked in the 1980s was asked once by NASA to analyze its Space Shuttle in the possible event of a near, or on-board, explosion. Our engineers did due diligence and replied that, while the capsule would remain intact, the force trauma would be instantaneously deadly to the crew. A couple years later, the Challenger did just that.
No matter how a capsule is built, humans on-board will be killed by the forces involved.
