It's South Korea that has been pushing for peace under the current government. It's the North that will be forced to make changes. It is them who are desperate.

Yes, the south's been looking for peace, but they also freaked when Trump cancelled the US/South Korean war games, as well as walked away from inspections, etc.

They freaked when he cancelled the war games? Practicing blowing up North Korea is one of the main reasons the North keep their weapons.

If Kim invades the south, the only thing that would repel him would be the joint American/South Korean armies working in unison like a well oiled machine. The South Korean leadership realizes this, as does the US army. Everyone realizes this but Trump. For the record, Trump doesn't know more than the generals.

I'm not sure where you are getting these ideas from Bill but they are wrong. The war games are one of the only things blocking peace. The problem isn't North Korea, the problem is the US. They invaded Korea in the 50's and killed 1.5 million people and they have helped keep the country divided ever since. Kim will never give up his weapons if the US and South Korea are practicing blowing up his country. Trump is the only President who has made peace possible. Credit where it is due.

That's coming from the South Koreans themselves.
Maybe Trump isn't the negotiator he imagines himself to be, and overestimates his personal relationships with dictators he seems to prefer over leaders of the free world.

Which South Koreans? I think you'll find most of them want peace. The way they have reunited for sports and athletics shows that. It's only America and their psychotic war games that hurts peace.

The South Korean government.
As much as South Koreans want peace, I doubt they want to live under the Kim dictatorship.
The only thing psychotic in the Korean peninsula is Kim.

I'm not sure where you're getting this outrageous propaganda but it would the North that has to make the changes. It's beyond hilarious for anyone to think that reunification would mean the South living under the North's control and under a communist dictatorship. The North is desperate and on the brink, it would be them who has to adopt capitalism. Kim loves American culture. Whatever garbage you've been watching or reading about the issue it's time for a change.

.
Kim might love western culture, but free government isn't one aspect of that.
The North has had plans for invasions of the South for decades. I doubt this Kim hasn't given up on such ideas that his father and grandfather had held.
