Hyde-Smith: Seg academies, good idea to block votes

Cindy Hyde-Smith, the Republican incumbent candidate for U.S. Senate in too-morrow's runn off election, went to school at a " Seg academy ", one of the private whites-only schools that sprung up in the South after those damn Yankees and outside agitators and tyrant judges forced happy Southerners to give their glorious Jim Crow traditions ! She sent her daughter to one, too . These schools were, racism aside, apparently noted for piss-poor education ~ The shade was the most important factor! (Some surviving seg ads still around do have a few token POC students, even some scholarships ones, maybe.)
Hyde-Smith has also had a video of her seeming to say that making it harder for Democrats to vote would be a good idea, or similar. She has not replied on it, but the head of the Mississippi Republican Party said it was a misleadingly edited video (Don't the Republicans like Veritas's videos same?) and turned it around to attack the black Democratic candidate over his past representation of an African dictator ~ whom the Dem says he dropped when he became aware of his wrongfulness.
Hyde-Smith made a joke about " a public hanging " ~ which has been seen as a dog whistle to lynching, sadly very common in Mississippi in the past. A defender said it was " an old country saying ", but another has said that he never heard f such a saying.
She was photographed in a " Confederate " flag hat next to a Confederacy-lover and posted it as " Mississippi history "!
In San Francisco, black leaders have called for a boycott of the SF Giants after their largest stockholder and his wife gave money to Hyde-Smith's campaign.

She knows her constituency well. Saying such reprehensible things would register well with her supporters.
