I will always remember his dislike for broccoli, puking on Kiichi Miyazawa, and Dana Carvey's priceless SNL impressions of him.

...Remember that peculiar, untrue, that was going around 29ish years. ago that claimed that he had accepted a British title from Queen Elizabrh? This - if not the title,, another part of the story - would have violated the Emooulments Clause, years before you-hnow+who...the story also claiming.that something embarrassing had happened at the title ceremony (derived from the Japanese puke incident, I suppose)! IIRC.

He was better than any other modern day President and kept the neocons at bay and was against Israeli settlements, hence why he didn't get a second term. Though he did take the US into Iraq on a pack of lies too. And yeah he wasn't very nice about the Simpsons!

...When he ran for the Republican nomination in 1980, he was seen as a mainstream Republican, with Reagan seen as of the strong right wing of the GOP!

No matter how bad your opinion may be of George Herbert Walker Bush, this is not the time to trash him. Leave him alone. Trashing him right now just shows how little class you have and how little respect you have for others.

RIP President George HW Bush! You were a good man who understood the needs of the American people regardless of their opinions of you!

It may get me banned again, but of the entire Bush clan, Barbara was the only one in the clan that had gonads. Had she’d been younger, and ran in 2016, I would had voted for her over Trump, Clinton, Sanders or whoever. Too bad she and HW are gone.

And furthermore kokopelli, I have a friend who just trashed Bush on her Facebook page. This person is one the most intelligent, caring, compassionate individuals I've ever met in my life. She has been a voice for inhumanity and injustice all her life. She also served in the military. But I guess in your mind, she's a "worthless piece of s**t." You attacked me, and you attacked my friend with your words. You need to apologize!
