The public knows more about the actual facts of Elizabeth Warren's heritage than she did.

Can't be worse than a POTUS who believes Obama was born in Kenya, so hardly worth mentioning Elizabeth Warren's ancestry is it Ezra. A person's correct racial profile is only really a concern to a racial supremacist...coincidentally it's the republicans who seems to be concerned about Warren's race

My guess is the democrats for Warren are concerned about the mire she put herself in when she lied on a legal document about being a minority and then kept perpetuating the lie for 30 years. Republicans mostly just find that lie and now her only tie to American Indianans being that her great grandfather hunted them down, rather amusing.

The point is that issue over Elizabeth Warren's perception of her own race is her business. She hasn't sought to gain economically from here comments.

Not sure how the actions of her great great great grandfather in any way tarnish her? it's not like she's trying to whitewash history like the descendants of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington or confederate slavers.

Nothing to see here folks, move along, move along.

The only justification for opposing her would be sexism, as it was with Hillary.

Of the female candidates, I think Klobuchar is still the best.

Fun fact: we have already had an American Indian vice president -- more than 1/4: Republican Charles Curtis of the Kaw tribe, Herbert Hoover's vice president all the way back in the 1930s.

(It's kind of reminiscent of how there were a bunch of southern black Republican senators and congressmen right after the Civil War until the Democrats and their paramilitary Klansmen suppressed the black vote.)

...My understanding is that her family and people around them held that they had Indian blood, and that was said to them in their home town. People putting her down on a more intelligentbasis than Herr Bone Spurs Stable Genius P*ss*'s immortal witticisms (NATIONAL REVIEW, I saw.) say " she has no more Indian than many officially white Americans...but if her family was treated as Indian-descended, does that count for something?
Yes, I know modern Indian tribes don't place faith in DNA tests very much, more cultural.
