Why do liberals care more about illegal immigrants?

Another thing with illegal immigrants is they get paid less than minimum wage because whoever does the payroll knows they won't report it to get higher wages because they will just be deported back to their home country. They will be caught that way so they get taken advantage of by Americans who hire them. They do it to save money and because they can pay them less because they know if they report it, they get deported so it works both ways.

I remember South Park did an episode about it except they used these aliens that came to earth and invaded South park and the residence started to get laid off. "They took my job."

^So then why isn’t there a big uproar against the businesses that take advantage of them?

The ironic thing is the number of left leaning media articles talking about how good they are for capitalism.

Almost reminds me of the south in the 1860's saying "we need our slaves".

Which wouldn't be problems if they were made full fledged citizens, something Republicans will never agree with.

Maybe because no one reports it and this only comes from people who have seen it in person and known people who do it and this is what my ex's told me. Then that SP episode made sense.

That's what I'm getting at. No one reports it. (or very few) But I bet if people started phoning ICE to report every business person that's taking advantage of illegal labour at cut prices & those business people were fined/charged.. guess what would happen? They would stop hiring illegals.. and then if illegals couldn't get jobs - in turn, they would quit coming.

But in reality, if people ratted out businesses who use illegal labour I bet most of those businesses would close down because illegals do work Americans refuse to. That's why crops rot on the vine when migrant labourers from Mexico aren't there to harvest them. It happened to trump's own grapes! No illegals to harvest them because he scared them off with his rhetoric and Americans refused to take those jobs.. so, bye bye grapes for wine, hello raisins.

As for this wall thing, I think liberals care more about not wasting government money when the wall won't keep them out. There are more cost effective ways to keep them out.

Conservatives talk about "balancing the budget" when they want to cut welfare but they waste billions on everything else, usually their self-aggrandizing pet projects.

Do you really want your tax dollars wasted on a medieval fortification that's ineffective in the modern world? Look at how many East Berliners managed to sneak over the Berlin Wall. But Trump's wall would be many times longer with unguarded sections tens of miles long.

And this is probably why liberals want illegal aliens in our country because we benefit from them.

I think it's a win win for them. Yes, they benefit from them. But I believe they're also compassionate about their plight and genuinely want to see them work hard and live better lives vs. get caught up in whatever the cartels are doing.

Democrats do the exact same. They e never fixed benifits for example.
