US troops killed in bomb blast in northern Syria

American service members were killed in a bomb blast in Syria, the U.S. military confirmed Wednesday. According to a tweet from the spokesperson for the U.S.-led coalition, the unknown number of Americans were killed during an explosion while conducting a routine patrol.

"We are still gathering information and will share additional details at a later time," the spokesperson said.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the blast, which occurred in the northern city of Manbij, saying one of its members carried out a suicide attack and detonated a vest with explosives, according to the Associated Press.

So the US is supposed to stay in Syria until every last guy with an explosive vest is eliminated?

No.. but they're supposed to have an exit plan that isn't "Hand Putin whatever he wants."

Am I a military strategist? No. And I've never claimed to be. I don't have all the answers. Do you? But what I do know, even as a layman, is that what trump did was dumb af and is likely to cause chaos in the region & hand Syria over to Putin in the end to do whatever he wants with. Seems rather Un-American to make military moves that benefit your adversaries.

It's also Un-American af to lie about defeating someone. And to lie to your own troops about getting them a 10% raise you never got them. And to commit treason - that's a big one.
