Anything is possible, but up until this announcement it hadn't been economically feasible yet & so anyone relying on emerging technologies to save the world via carbon capture has been living in a fantasy world while counting their chickens before they hatch.

NOW there might be a higher chance we can actually do this vs. bank on it before it's even possible.

Cool.

I was just kind of thinking the other day, not only do we need to reduce the Co2 and other crap we are putting in the air if we are to address this climate change....but we'd need ways to potentially more or less reverse some of the damage we have already done. Basically all the damage done hasn't even caught up to us yet....so not only do we have to get serious about reducing new emissions but also dealing with a 100 years crap we have put into the atmosphere.
