This is the same psycopath that used a metaphor about slapping women to criticise the Palestinians.

I saw the episode where that subject came up. I think he was saying the Palestinians are victims of their leadership who are either hopelessly corrupt or religious fanatics.

I'm glad you defend this psychopath. It's Israel that shoots children in the face. Shoots marked journalists and medics. Says they have to go in every few years to "mow the lawn". Pours white phosphorus over schools and hospitals. Racially segregates. Bulldozes homes with the residents still inside. The PA are corrupted Israeli puppets and Israel helped create Hamas.

No, I'm only clarifying what Maher said. While I think he's partially right about the Palestinian government, I'm not going to give Israel a pass. To be sure, innocent Palestinians are humiliated, maimed, and killed all the time. The very worst way you're going to stop terrorism is by destroying the family homes of the terrorists, but will only create more hate and despair through collective punishment.

Pursuant to Article 33 of the 4th Geneva Convention, collective punishment is a war crime.
Israel is perhaps the world's 4th most powerful nuclear power, with a modern fully mechanized infantry with over 6,500 APC's and 4,000 tanks, the largest fleet of F-16's outside of the US, and an $11 million a day subsidy, versus the world's largest concentration camp, with no aircraft, no air defense artillery, no armor, no AIPAC, and no blanket veto from a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
The Palestinians certainly are victims, but it sure as hell isn't self-inflicted.

He's talking nonsense. What he's said is a billion times worse than anything Carlson has said. Israel are the main ones carrying out terrorism, state terrorism, sponsored by the US. Those methods were only used by the Nazis and Saddam Hussein's regime.

I never said Israeli response wasn't exponentially worse than the initial Palestinian actions.

More propaganda. The Palestinians are the ones responding.

Bill Maher is a stupid hypocrite centrist.

He speaks out (rightfully) against the US government's cruel and racist treatment of Mexican immigrants, but casually shrugs off the Israeli government's mass-murder of Palestinian innocents. f**k this guy.

Yep. "Centrist" seems to mean nothing.

I've watched a few Bill Maher episodes in the past and found them funny but I stopped because I noticed he often

gives a very false impression of things that are outside of the US. It's ok to do this in comedy if your audience know

that you are lying but when you're talking about things they are unlikely to be knowledgeable on you need to be

careful. I don't think he cared enough to bother.
