Fox News has come under fire - again  - after its host Laura Ingraham, on her show, reported on Nipsey Huss'els funeral in a laughing, sarcastic, manner - and described a years-back rap song titled " f**k Donald Trump " that he participated on one remix of with a verse as being " by " Nipsey - and showed a clip of the song's video that did not show Nipsey at all 8O ! They all look alike, huh  ? I can't link, I-presume-someone ...
Rspper The Game called for her to be fired from Fox, with Snoop Dogg and others chiming in. Lotsa luck...since Fox's demographic is pretty old and white! Whadda thinketh youse?

I think you answered your own question

Nothing more cringeworthy than watching white folk trying to understand hip hop. It's easier to make fun of art forms that are culturally separate.

Hip hop is not just a black thing in the US. I don't listen to much of it myself, but I know of plenty if white boys who do. And I know the names of the most popular hip hop artists. Which means I know that Nipsy Hustle wasn't among of them. I think the only reason why older white people like the OP took notice of Nipsey Hustle is because of a 70's celebrity nammed Nipsey Russell. I never heard of either one of them before this.

Hip hop is mainstream now and the bulk of it's market are young white males. The mainstream stuff is no longer art it's commercial like any other pop genre.

Fox news targeted Nipsey because of his song about Trump, the old white male brigade look for any excuse to laugh at black people like the good old days of "blackface"

So they've never laughed at all the white musicians and celebrities who are anti-trump?

Well that's exactly my point Ezra, they are laughing at Nispey because he was anti-Trump

So your point is that Fox news laughs at anti-trump musicians and celebrities.

...That appears to be the Canadian version of ET, not the main American one! 8O I never heard of there being a separate one, though I guess I'm not suprised :? . Is it so some " first-take " version :? ? Since it said " Entertainment Tonight Live " :? . Does it run on the Internet or something, in advance of the early evening broadcast TV " regular " version? :?

White folks can understand hip-hop. They can rock to its rhythm, and enjoy it. I’m not a big fan, by the way.

They can’t fully understand the “black experience”—though they can mostly understand it.

Nipsey Russell was an actor and game show panelist who tended to make up poems on the spot. That was his gimmick (and it was a good one).

Guess I'm old and white. Never heard of the guy before in my life until the media blitz. I also must be old because the very first time I saw his name I did an eye roll because I do remember the comedian, Nipsey Russell, who was funny. Actually, most every comedian back then was funny from what I recall.

...ET is a part of CBS (syndicated, not network), I looked it up on Wikipedia. So, no, not Fox. It's lucky I did look it up --- I was under the impression that ET was a Warner Brothers TV show! 8O That's Warner Bros.-AT&T - who own CNN -DJT's " Enemy Of The People " :x :P !
I was going to add this as a correction to my post above, but other peeps put up posts so it became too late to correct an old one :| .
