I'd imagine San Francisco's street poop problem isn't as bad as it is in parts of India.

The favourite trick around here is to take the dog for a walk in the park or countryside, collect the poop in a plastic bag (so it looks like you're doing your duty), then leave the bag somewhere where people will step on it, or hanging from a tree branch, or in a nook in a stone wall. The rural footpaths are bedecked with little plastic time-bombs of preserved poop that won't even get washed away by the rain! :eew:

I was in SF around six years ago and I never saw any poop on the streets.I was staying in the Outer Mission district close to Excelsior.
Lots of cigarette butts on the streets but nothing really gross.
It must have gotten worse since I was there.
My daughter arrived back there a few months ago from her world travels and stepped in poop on an apartment staircase,like as in indoors.Ewwwwwewe

I didn’t see either,just some goose droppings on the botanical garden lawn with a notice not to picnic there.And a sign that said not to feed the squirrels as they become aggressive.So I had a good visual of people picnicking and a horde of squirrels attacking them.
