Trump has praised citizens for attacking journalists, praised police for “roughing up” arrested suspects and has called Mexicans drug dealers and rapists (his words). His policies have mostly targeted the poor, undocumented immigrants, trans people and people of colour. Result: 226% increase in local hate crimes targeting aforementioned people following his speech in that area.

Simple Translation: Rabble rouser Trump agitates his supporters with inflammatory speech to trigger them acting on long held beliefs and he (Trump) defends his views.

Really simple translation - Folks feel itchy but too scared to scratch in public until Trump says "boy! scratch that itch" and Trump believes what he says is "nice" (his words)

Yep. Makes me wonder how trump supporters can support any of that, never mind all of it.

Simple...because Trump supporters have never really changed their views from before Trump....Trump is giving them opportunity to try a new "modus operandi" to act on their urges

If not this thread then a zillion others. They seem to consist of the bulk of what you two and and a few other foreigners post. Many have expressed puzzlement over the frequency of it as you know.

As for the article title, it makes an extraordinary claim without seeming to provide extraordinary evidence. It starts out saying "in a recent study" which is hyperlinked. But instead of the hyperlink taking you to a study it takes you to, where else, the Washington Post as usual.

Yea, how dare he attack poor illegal immigrants who crossed the border illegally by attempting to deport them back to the country they came from, you know, like every president before him? How dare he attack people of color, wait, how exactly has he done that, and how dare him allow left wing radicals to attack journalists, how dare he mention the fact that rapist, drug traffickers and murderers are crossing the border, we shouldn't pay attention to things like that and allow them to sell people as sex slave, or give heroin addicts fentanyl to overdose on or create extremely violent gangs throughout the US, bad Trump. How dare him upset the radical leftists all across the globe.

I'll complete the test for you, you can't ensure drug dealers do not traffic drugs across, just as you can't ensure that no individuals already wanted for murder do not cross, hence, the reason every single country monitors people who enter their country, hence the word 'unmonitored'.

Says people who can't understand English. Sorry, that's my only assumptions since people like to take his words and twist them as if he is being openly racist, it's a comprehension problem, that is why anything he says that is labeled as racism is open for opinion, to some anyway. His messages are very clear and obviously not racist, people just refuse to accept, it would greatly reduce the things they could complain about.

Mr. Trump is racist, sexist, a liar and a deceiver. The sooner he is removed from office, the better off this country (and the world) will be.

That's the point, your argument isn't supported by facts, it's supported by people who can't understand english. They take lines meant to bring light to drug cartels sneaking across the border and insist it applies to anyone that may come from mexico. These same people believe in idiotic things like people should be allowed to cross the border without being monitored, open borders. He is only guilty of having a lack of communication skills, to safely speak on subjects that are very important, therefor a bunch of babies interrupt his words in the most insane ways to insist he is racist and sexist.

Absolutely no different than the people suggesting he said white supremacists are fine people when he clarified that no, he wasn't saying white supremacists were fine people, they are bad people. The problem is we have alot of people that don't understand how to correctly decipher sentences to understand the meaning of the message. That's why this conversation is pointless, because people obviously have comprehensive issues.
