This was never meant to be taken literally, or meant to pass as law. Rather, it's all about showing how women feel about having to wait or be penalized when it comes down to their bodies and the fetuses they may carry.

Until the Republican right stops caring about people only before they're born and after they die, and actually care for the most vulnerable - who tend to be children in need - they'll never get my vote.
It may surprise you, but I am actually pro-life. But most of the pro-life movement has proven time and again that they are more anti- abortion than pro-life. These are the same people who demand that the social safety net be cut, and call poor parents and their children leaches and parasites for needing public assistance. In my opinion, allowing a child to die of injury and illness after birth, just so some affluent citizen can keep his whole paycheck, is just as guilty of murder as is whole sale abortion.

If this law were real, and got passed, a whole lot of men in Texas would be filing Chapter 11 in pretty short order. As much as I love Texas, I have met my share of jag-offs down there.

How a dead, two year old bill qualifies as news or a current event is beyond me.

I like Ben Shapiro's take on it, though I am pro-choice, don't front like cells that will develop into a human isn't a human, allow those cells to develop for 9.5 months and you have a human baby, actually even before 9 months. Allow tumor cells to develop for 2 years, it will not turn into a human.

Thus, it is not a lump of cells, it is a human developing at the earliest stages. Pretending it is not a human that is developing is a way to justify killing it, guilt free. It becomes a fully developed human before it is born, a human that hears and thinks, people try to pretend that is false also, to pretend they aren't killing a human life that is about to be born in 1 month, or even weeks before it will be born, having contact with the outside doesn't cause a baby to spontaneously emerge.

The party has being going radical since trump ran for president. I’m done with it probably register republican for next election . I don’t think they’ll ever be a more center candidate from them.
