Yestrday, drivers for the Uber and Lyft " rides are " companies acting in having a one day strike in a number of markets for the services in America and elsewhere. Briefly, the drivers want higher payment a d improved conditions/benefits and for both compa he's to drop the s*!t of the two companies claiming that the drivers are " independent contractors. , not employees, a ruse that lets U. and L. offer their drivers far less payment and lrktd tion than they would if they were defineed lehmgally as " employees.
Both U. and L. ads or will have IPKs soon, expected to be a massive payday for their bosses and stockholders, despite the absense oc a profit on the balance sheets of either companies!
