Far-left Los Angeles Descends into Third World Slum Status

The City of Angels, home to far-left Hollywood millionaires lecturing the rest of the country on morality, capital of the movie industry and big Democrat donors, "cultural" capital of most proudly "Progressive" of all the left-wing states, is now a Third World slum.

...Then there was the news that the LAPD station on skid row was cited by the state for a rodent infestation and other unsanitary conditions, and that one employee there was infected with the strain of bacteria that causes typhoid fever.

What century is this?

Is it the 21st century in the largest city of a state that ranks among the world’s most robust economies, or did someone turn back the calendar a few hundred years?

We’ve got thousands of people huddled on the streets, many of them withering away with physical and mental disease. Sidewalks have disappeared, hidden by tents and the kinds of makeshift shanties you see in Third World places. Typhoid and typhus are in the news, and an army of rodents is on the move.

Well also take a look at how the midwest is doing...the reality is a lot of the country could become slums sooner than anyone expects. I mean the area around paradise california is a slum....My dads out there helping out at a church while staying in essentially a shed he's made into a home for he and his dog. He didn't have to go out there, but he needed a purpose and helping out there is what he wants to do(he's been homeless so hey he gets to help people and get a place to stay. But either way he's told me how it is out there and from his description there isn't any 'help' coming in outside of bottled water, its a place totally neglected by the government, those people are essentially on their own. and now the midwest is in a terrible flooding crisis. My boyfriends parents live in missouri so I worry about them a bit, they seem like nice people...even though my boyfriend had issues with them growing up, even he says he has a better relationship with them now.

I reacall some reports of celebrities losing their fancy homes to the fire, well what about all the regular people who are still stuck out there getting no federal help essentially, I don't even like churches and religion but apparently its essentially a church helping people out there. My dad even talked of people coming through and stealing stuff and how they need to find a way to stop that. And like they would be willing to help people who ask for help rather than stealing.

But back to the midwest, how do you suppose that will affect american crops? I mean don't expect to buy much corn from the store. And as far as I know Trump hasn't even acknowledged this issue. I mean a lot of his supporters hail from those places getting all the flooding....doesn't he have any words of sympathy for them at least? I mean I already know he doesn't care about poor people, immigrants or asylum seekers or people in California. But he doesn't even have any words for his supporters down south getting flooded out?

Also some bees are lining their nests with plastic....

I mean as much as people hate it, maybe we should stop sacrificing so much water on 'lawns' maybe every grass patch in the city should not be mowed down. I mean those lawn mowers probably take a lot of gass, maybe cities should be planting native plants and allowing some natural growth instead of constantly mowing. Like who even decided all grass must be mowed, its so freaking stupid beyond reason. Lawns are entirely and completely useless, what plant a bunch of non native plants to ruin the ecosystem....why? I feel bad for the prairie buddies constantly getting developed over(prairie buddy is what I call the ground hogs) and they were here first. They are natural prarie animals that are good for the ecosystem because the aerate the soil and provide food for the hawks and everyone just wants to poison them to death to build over them.

Which poisoning them can also hurt the birds that prey on them, granted I see enough of them I am not worried about them going extinct at this point, but developers and such just treat them like a parasite to get rid of, but they are kind of vital to the prairie landscape. I mean due to some of this deveolopment I see a lot more hawks flying over parking lots and areas you wouldn't really expect to see a large hawk. But they have been here forever hunting prarie dogs and now more and more of that habitat is taken away forcing these birds into urban settings they aren't used to. I mean a lot of them probably adapt in some ways....but I have also been seeing a few sightings of ravens fighting the birds of prey for food. Like two times in the last couple of months, I wonder if it means hawks are now scavenging more and so they are in more competition with the ravens.

I mean what does it mean when ravens going after birds of prey to steal their food, becomes a rather common sight rather than a rare occurrence you see maybe one time .

Whole red states are divided into the Neo-Confederates and the poor who said rich keeps divided with racial resentment.

Why are wealthy Hollywood folk generalised together as 'far left'?

It's a very blue demographic.

Folks in Hollowood are like a vase. Pretty and decorative on the outside, hollow and empty on the inside.

California is only "liberal" in the major cities and coastal regions.

Once you go beyond the Inland Empire, it's pretty conservative---like most rural areas.

That picture could be a railroad yard or something. There are times when you can obtain these sorts of images even in affluent areas.

If somebody would take a video of the surrounding area, then I would get a better idea of the nature of the area.

Even in places like Compton (which is considered a bad area), you don't find this sort of thing frequently. It's probably more common in places like Mumbai, India.

I still wonder if it’s technologically possible to reverse climate change.
