Not much to report. The ground shook. The light fixtures swayed. A minute or so later, it was over. Epicenter was below the southeast corner of the China Lake military base, about 150 miles north of Los Angeles. The Media is still carrying on about it, seeking reports from anyone who may have been injured or lost some property. My neighbors didn't even notice it.

Date/Time: 2019-07-04/17:33:49 (UTC)
Magnitude: 6.4
Epicenter: ~12km SW of Searles Valley, CA
Lat./Lon.: 35.705°N/117.506°W
Depth: ~10.7 km

I'm glad no one was hurt. I would find it scary to feel the ground shake. I'm scared in hurricanes when the walls shake and windows rattle and things thump and crash loudly against the house.

About the same as before. The ground shook. The light fixtures swayed. A few minutes later, it was over. Epicenter was near the southeast corner of the China Lake military base, about 150 miles north of Los Angeles. The Media is still carrying on about it, seeking reports from anyone who may have been injured or lost some property. Only this time I could hear my neighbors screaming at each other to get the kids, get the dog, run outside, start the car, et cetera.

I was a little stronger than last night's, but not so strong as to cause a panic (disclaimer: I live about 150-175 miles south of the epicenter).
