Tallahassee stabbing: What we know about the Dyke Industries attack in Florida

Tallahassee police will hold a press conference this afternoon related to a "mass stabbing" incident at Dyke Industries, Inc. Wednesday morning.

Victims have been hospitalized for their injuries, and at least one is in serious condition.

Police have confirmed the suspect is in custody.

The Tallahassee Police Department anticipates investigating the incident all day and will have a press conference later this afternoon.

Multiple victims have been hospitalized, with at least one patient in serious condition.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare spokeswoman Danielle Buchanan said the hospital is treating five people from the incident. An earlier report from TMH said six.

"[TMH] received five patients from the incident, not six as initially reported. One patient is in serious condition, two patients are in fair condition, and two patients are in good condition."

Outlaw didn’t elaborate on the dispute. He said the suspect, Antwann Brown, 41, was asked to clock out as a result. He clocked out at 8:20 a.m. ET, Outlaw said.

Brown had been employed at Dyke Industries for three and a half months with no known employment issues, according to Tallahassee police.

Depends on the load, the calibre, the shooter's aim and skill, whether auto or single-action, and how much ammo is being carried.

Using a loaded six-shot revolver might have hurt more people. A derringer maybe two. An AR-15 with spare magazines, however ...

The Second Amendment guarantees our right to bear arms, not artillery.
