A number of 2020 Democrat candidates demanded Kavanaugh's impeachment after the New York Times published excerpts of a new book containing details about sexual misconduct allegations that he has previously denied, but that revived the raw emotions spurred by his fight for confirmation last year.
"Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people," California Sen. Kamala Harris wrote Sunday morning on Twitter. "He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice."
The Democratic front-runner, Joe Biden, stopped short Sunday evening of calling for impeachment but raised concerns about the integrity of Kavanaugh's confirmation process.

According to Ruth Bader Ginsburg Kavanaugh is 'very decent and very smart'.

He also has not been as hard-right in his rulings as many had anticipated.

Which is probably why they wanted to stop him from getting appointed and why they want to impeach him.

This monstrous deliberate lie by the New York Times has already collapsed within 48 hours of being published, as the Times has been forced to admit that the supposed "victim" has acknowledged that she doesn't even remember the supposed event (which was made up by someone else).

The monstrous moral depravity of the Left knows no bounds.

There aren't enough votes in the Senate for that to happen.

Sadly, this kind of thing is closer to truth than satire now.

New York Times Reveals Source On Kavanaugh Allegations Was Reputable Nigerian Prince

NEW YORK, NY—Many people criticized the New York Times' recent piece bringing to light new and recycled Brett Kavanaugh allegations, especially after the website issued a disclaimer admitting basically nobody remembered the alleged incident.

But the Times is standing by its story, going so far as to reveal its source: a reputable Nigerian prince who emailed the investigative reporters offering information in exchange for funds to be wired via MoneyGram.

"The Nigerian prince contacted us and said he had dirt on Kavanaugh, and who were we to question his story?" said Kate Kelly, one of the reporters who worked on the piece and new book on Kavanaugh. "Who do we look like, Dick Tracy? If Nigerian royalty contacts you asking for a million dollars and promises you information on Kavanaugh, you have to act on that kind of lead."

according to an article on CNN the FBI knew about an incident at Yale where Kavanaugh exposed himself to a young woman. They knew this information just days before his Senate confirmation hearing.
Although some of her friends say she does not recall the incident.

who knows how credible this is

To be fair, she's only known him as an adult, and not when he was a drunken frat boy sexual predator. He may well be a decent and smart man these days, it doesn't mean he wasn't ever also a sexual predator with a drinking problem.

Many of the major 2020 Democratic candidates for president over the weekend released statements calling for Congress to impeach Kavanaugh, citing the Times' reporting of an uncorroborated and disputed college-era allegation of sexual misconduct as a reason to impeach.

But late Sunday, the paper revised its portrayed blockbuster story to include the fact that several friends of the alleged victim said she told them she did not recall the reported sexual assault in question.

But that didn’t prompt Democrats to revise or walk back their calls: In one case, billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer called for impeachment proceedings even after the Times’ update.

The Times piece by Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, adapted from their forthcoming book, asserted that a Kavanaugh classmate, Clinton-connected nonprofit CEO Max Stier, "saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student."

The Times did not mention Stier's work as a Clinton defense attorney, or his legal battles with Kavanaugh during the Whitewater investigation. According to the Times, Stier "notified senators and the FBI about this account" last year during the Kavanaugh hearings, "but the FBI did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly."

However, the Times' article also initially did not mention that Pogrebin and Kelly's book found that the female student in question did not recall the alleged episode.

In its update, the paper later said, “Editors' Note: An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book's account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article."

"This is the weakest of the weak type of allegations. It's really a shameful attempt to reignite these smears against Judge Kavanaugh that are utterly baseless," Carrie Severino, the founder of the Judicial Crisis Network who recently wrote a sympathetic book about Kavanaugh, said on "Fox & Friends."

Source: 2020 Democrats ignore Kavanaugh story correction after demanding impeachment

So Max Stier is the one who made the accusation. He was Clinton's defense attorney and also may hold a grudge over his legal battles with Kavanaugh during the Whitewater investigation. Sounds like a potential conflict of interest. Then the alleged female student doesn't recall the incident. Where is the corroborating evidence?

This is a calculated bipartisan action to scare people. If the government is mean enough to employ rapists as judges, then don't mess with the government!

The fact of the matter is that this is all predicated on emotions rather than facts, which is exactly how Trump gains power. Whether or not Kavanaugh did anything bad is moot, the possibility that he did means Trump's word means more to a lot of people than the truth.

I think it's terrorism, to control people through their fear for their own human sovereignty. American sovereignty is walking all over Americans' sovereignty.

IMO Biden & Kavanaugh are both sexual predators.

Bugger it all.

I don't really think they can impeach at this point, everything that I have read says the alleged victim doesn't remember the incident.

They have no substance against Kavanaugh

That's because the politically correct idea of "substance" has been destroyed in favor of electing or appointing anyone with money.

Allowing for the possibility of a Supreme Court Justice to be that a$$hole frat guy is absolutely pointless unless you want to scare your population.
