Labor Leader Harry Bridges, Australian-born American lingshoreman in San Francisco who built the longshoremen's union and was a major socio-political leader during the Twentieth Century, still has not had the statue of him that was announced to be erected built. Just a model.
This per a few-weeks-back San Francisco Chronice/SF Gate story that I can't link to now :( and don't have anymore.
