It's about time that something like this happens. This gives me hope for the future. Things are changing for the better, now.

The more I read about Gorsuch, the more I respect him. Truly a judge and not a politician. Thinking through the case to see if the complaints line up with the 1964 law.

Nobody was taking it seriously when Regan was running for office, but it was his appointments to the Supreme Court that started the politicalization of the SCOTUS. I told myself at the time that when judges moved into this highest court of the land, they would somehow leave politics behind.

I no longer remember my reasoning.

Perhaps Gorsuch will resume the tradition, now that he doesn't have to please the politicians.

When Anthony Kennedy retired, I theorized that John Roberts would become the new swing voter, and so far, that has held true.

Not sure about Gorsuch, but I am pleased that Kavanaugh hasn't taken the hard-right stance many were expecting him to.
