In this context, race matters. Calling them white goons is 100% appropriate.

I feel the use of the term "white privilege" is meant to give any potential white participants in a debate no where else to go. Being 'white' is advantageous only if all stars align... Add being poor and white, uneducated and white, addicted and white, disabled and white, obese and white and you will see that all other prejudices will effectively take the privilege right out of being white.

It's an attack on white people and it should be rejected as a concept. Some people might use it in a benign sort of way, but these culture warrior types know exactly what they're doing. People of color is another way to attack whites, it's more subtle that just saying non-white. Including everyone who isn't white in the in-group. Color man good, white man bad. I don't think I've ever seen in my life a reference to non-black or a people of color equivalent of non-black. Or non-brown, non-latino, non-arab, etc.

I’m a white heterosexual male Jew.

I don’t feel most Democrats hate white male heterosexual Christian males.... unless a screw is loose somewhere.

I refuse to consider myself an oppressor because I am of Northern European descent. My wife is of Afro-Caribbean descent.

This obsessive racial thing is playing into the hands of white supremacists, who are vomit/garbage.

We have to teach the fact of the nonexistence of “white” culture.

I don't think they all do, but there are some who resort to white-shaming and do try to guilt us into supporting their political agenda.

I had a school teacher once in the 6th grade who was just like that. Ironically she was white herself.

This white-shaming crap only occurs amongst academics who always have their nose in books.

They don’t hang out with very many actual people.
