Heroic firefighter dies saving fellow responders

A fire Lt. died early this morning as he and his crew responded to a report of a trapped baby inside a raging fire.Jason Menard a 39 year old father and husband died of his injuries after his heroic efforts to save four people in the four alarm fire at 7 Stockholm st.

Menard heroically helped a firefighter to the stairs before returning into the flames to help another firefighter.

This story has now made the national news and it is reported that the firefighter died a day before he was supposed to go on a Disney vacation.
