US First Lady Melania Trump was furious when her son, Barron, was the subject of a joke recently. However, she appears to have no issues with her husband, US President Donald Trump, attacking 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg.
Mrs Trump has waged a crusade against cyber-bullying called “BeBest” in a bid to protect children.

“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics,” Mrs Trump wrote. However, Mrs Trump has been attacked online after she said nothing following her husband’s attack on 16-year-old Greta Thunberg, after the climate activist was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.
Fortunately former first lady Michelle Obama took to social media to defend Thunberg.
The former first lady had words of wisdom to share with Thunberg and took to Twitter to share her support.
.@GretaThunberg, don’t let anyone dim your light (Like the Trumps). Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on.

Unlike Barron, Greta made herself into a public figure and thrust herself into politics and the media spotlight (really her parents did that). Her age is irrelevant as far as attacking her position goes (or her demeanor for that matter). I don't recall ever playing the "I'm just a kid" card in debates and arguments here. Never said "You can't attack my position on a subject because I'm a teenager". If Greta being 16 is such an issue, then they should take her out of the spotlight until she becomes an adult.

Greta was cynically chosen as the face of a pernicious, blackmailing political agenda by the Soros led global corporatists.

That kid is going to be one F-ed up adult.

She should be doing normal things for her age, like experimenting with narcotics and smelly boys who have yet to master personal hygiene. Anyone who criticises her campaign gets shamed for being unkind to the little autistic girl, when the real pigs are the puppet masters behind her.

How about not experimenting with narcotics----and going out with relatively clean boys?

"Experimenting" with narcotics could easily lead to addiction. I don't advocate even trying it once "just for the experience."

Those same types slammed an autistic boy plenty of times. I really felt like they were trying to bully me off WP.

The article doesn't say what Melania did/said.

It's the good old what she didn't say, guilt by omission. She didn't publicly object to: “So ridiculous,” Mr Trump said. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

Apparently Melania thinks Greta "had it coming" because of her public stance on climate

I think child welfare and anti-bullying organisations need to remove this gold-digging parasite from their list of supporters

Considering the number of times you have trashed kids around Greta's age, all the comments you make along those lines are dripping with hypocrisy.

And all the lady said about Barron was, "Trump can name his son Barron, but he cannot make him a baron." This was a pretty benign statement that was a play on words, and simply emphasized how Trump is not a king and that we live in a Republic. I find it baffling how anyone can lose their $#!7 over this statement. Unless, Trump really wants to be king. He has joked a lot about how he wants to try serving beyond 2 terms, so could that be connected? Hmm... I know Trump can be really touchy whenever someone suggests there might be a limit to his power as president.

But weren't you guys talking about how she was just a puppet and all this, and she didn't really understand what she was getting herself into? If that's the case, then she would have the diminished responsibility that a kid has, and just like you should never mention Trump's son Barron, even in passing and to make a point that has nothing to do with Barron, you should lay off Greta.
