It is very logical. It is what Trump the businessman wants. The larger he can make the pool of service workers, the less he has to pay the ones who work for them. Basic supply and demand economic theory.

My suggestion is to replace Trump with the names of the last 5 presidents and do a search for, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan + end Social Security or Social Security cuts or similar.

You'll find it has been a news topic with each President going back decades.

There's quite a bit of Trump this and Trump that in the news, which was in play long before Trump and will be in play long after Trump.

That's why I shrug off a lot of current media hype, because I have found a lot of it to be the same old story that's been going around long before you or I were born.

Look up 2020 candidates as well. See how many news articles you find about them wanting to cut or end Social Security.

What excuse will you be using to defend him if and when he does it?

Well on the bright side if I lose both my SSI and my foodstamps there won't be anything tying me to my abusive controlling mother anymore and I can just go rot on the streets begging a**holes for spare change or food while they mock me or dump liquids on my head.

Oh good grief. What I wrote had nothing to do with defending Trump.

It's the same story that has been applied to every president.

What if...what if... What if you give yourself a brain aneurysm from buying into and worrying yourself to death over decades old recycled hype?

I'm on SSDI. It's my future too.

I'm just trying to reason with you and help you relax a little.

Hype? This is a formally proposed rule, not just some talking by the Administration about how it might be nice to do it.

It’s part of the Government’s intent to make being on SSI an unpleasant experience.

What Trump is proposing is probably not going to be passed by the House in its entirety.

It might not be passed at all, since the House is Democratic.

It will not happen. I know it's scary though. If you have been deemed truly disabled, you are going to be okay. If anyone gets the blowback from this, I believe it will be 24 year old men who claim to have a back injury yet go water skiing, turn flips on trampolines, etc...

Why is it you never see a headline like "Trump invests in innovation" or "Trump invests in higher education" or Trump invests in Health research" or "clean energy initiatives"

He's the antitheses of forward progressive thinking. Put aside the encyclopaedia of Trump related deficits, on this alone his legacy should be jettisoned into the sewer of history

University educated Trump supporters really should hang their heads in utter shame
