That was brutal to watch. He picked up and slammed that little kid to the floor twice like he was a rag doll.

Just what did the kid do to deserve that? The two links don’t specify why this happened.

For that matter, the video from WABC-TV no longer exists, as I attempted to play it, and immediately get the prohibited icon. (Then, again, I was trying to view it on my cell phone.)

According to the video, nothing.  Come to think of it, there is nothing the child did that could have justified receiving two body slams and being dragged away from the camera -- not even if the child "mouthed off" to the cop.  This is just another incident of police brutality, that's all.
