Why would the military industrial complex want or allow that vs a perpetuation of the $Trillion+ fireworks show?

The US military has $738B/yr; 54% of US govt discretionary spending, to burn through. Soooo, if they’re actually ending this mess, does that mean they’ve already selected their next target to bomb back to the Stone Age? Who might it be? North Korea? Iran?

The US military and it’s arms manufacturers aren’t just going to scale down & close up shop. If this war no longer has the public support to funnel tax dollars into a back fat void nothingness, they’ll make a new hole somewhere else and keep stealing from the American people in the name of spreading freedom & democracy.

"Peace" agreement signed, US withdraws.

Only the gullible don't understand that the country whose motto is "these colors don't run" has surrendered.
A year or two later the corrupt people we spent lives, money and internal unity on collapse like a deck of cards. Another "rag tag" guerilla army just walks right in.

How long is the agreement good for? Until the next shooting at a military base or church done in the name of Islam?
