The Hamden county DA's office confirms a second child has been recovered from the Chicopee river,they had been looking there since saturday when the body of the first child was found.
Chicopee police said two children went to play near the river and they fell through the ice and never returned home.Police said K-9's and search helicopters and state police water search crews,searched the area.
The two children are believed to be cousins,one is from Pawtucket,RI,the other lived off Fuller rd. in Chicopee,the children were 10 and 11.
