Admin costs are 4x higher per capita due to all the unnecessary paper pushing jobs in the American healthcare and health insurance industry. The USA wastes over $600B/yr on this that could provide health care for all citizens instead.

our non-health-care system is "best" only in one very narrow criterion, that of heroic measures for bottomless pockets. a real health care system would spread out that benefit to all citizens. otherwise it is just a cultural spoils system. you made my point for me. cost does not necessarily equal value. magas can't see that.
