This is why the USA will have great difficulty getting the C-19 pandemic under control. It’s not people of reasonable intelligence & knowledge that are the problem. It’s the lowest common denominator types like this guy that dictate the overall picture of public health. And it doesn’t look good.

I say allow it, with the caveat that it's held deep in some desolate area like a desert, and anyone attending will be staying there indefinetely.

It easy to forget, when looking from the outside, that this particular type of kook is only looked up to by at best a little less than a fifth of American citizens (going by the last report on American census data I’ve seen anyway): their notoriety is, I would argue, out of proportion to their influence... hence all their endless banging on about how persecuted they are(n’t).

Not that that doesn’t make this particular piece of publicity oriented foolishness both alarming & reprehensible.
