Also nice to see he’s willing to sell to the USA, too. And that he acknowledges this is a global effort since it’s a small mom and pop business in China that makes the machines he needs to produce masks - “we are one people and one world.”

It's about time Canadians did something for themselves.

Everybody should make their own.
In a crisis situation you shouldn’t depend on others to supplies vital needs.

Also, maybe you don’t realize, or accept, that virtually every present day economy is intertwined around the world and we’re all interdependent on one another’s nations for everything from raw materials to food to medicine and energy.

And you don’t seem to grasp triage, the supplies go to wherever the need is greater.If the US is in need of supplies, do you seriously expect us to let our citizens die and medical workers go without PPEs when you claim Canada is doing so well?Why do you need them then?

The reason Canadian doctors and nurses are doing Okay so far is because they still have access to necessary PPE. Why on God’s green Earth would I advocate taking it away from them and waiting until they start dying before providing what’s required again? How does that make any sense whatsoever? Ditto for any other nation on Earth - All doctors and nurses are among societies’ greatest assets and take 5-10+ years to produce and thus should be protected by essential PPE.

But if I had to pick a single nation who’s doctors deserve more respect than any other on the planet right now, hands down its Cuba’s. No contest whatsoever.

That’s what I’m saying.You HAVE plenty,we do not at this time.You can have all you want when our medical staff has enough to protect them.
So tell me again why you want our health care workers to give up the crumbs they have,while you say your workers have enough ??

You’re advocating cutting off vital supplies to Canadian healthcare workers until they’re dying like Americans before they’re provided with PPE again. That’s unacceptable - for any nation’s doctors. Do you understand yet?

Not my fault you don’t understand that all doctors should have PPE and none should have it taken from them, increasing their risk factors, to give it to others.

All doctors should have required PPE, you very stable genius.

Withhold shipments to private citizens and retail stores first. And then if necessary, from other essential services with less exposure, like social workers, then military, police and fire fighters etc. Doctors, nurses, and frontline healthcare workers should All be protected first, regardless of what their nationality is.
