Personally, because everyone wants what’s in their best interest, if I had a choice in the matter I’d opt for their 3rd most expensive option as then as my income rises I would still see some benefit from it even if it’s taxed in a higher bracket vs losses from it in less than 2 years time when my income is too high to benefit from it anymore.

Although, I would simply game the system to the best of my ability by working less and taking more to fuel university study goals and/or participate more in the cash economy as is the nature of much small construction contracting work.

However they do this, poor people will be elevated to a dignified existence and I will make sure I do not lose so I’m good with it. 8)
