Ah well.

Just read that he could be in serious trouble for sending Telsa stock prices crashing with his, 'Tesla stock price is too high imo' tweet.

That pretty much convinced me he was an aspie. :D

Yep. The stuff in the OP doesn't seem obviously aspie, but THAT does. :lol:

I'm liking him more all the time. :P ^

Maybe do more research. He offered a submarine to help save trapped boys in a cave that was filling with water. Unfortunately the sub wasn't suitable. Instead of just accepting that he called one of the divers who helped save the boys a 'peadophile' on Twitter.

He also wants to implant AI-enabled microchips in the brains of autistic people to cure them.

Wouldn't be very pleasant walking around with metal in your brain?

Inspiring as an engineer, childish as a person? I know more people like that, some diagnosed, some not.
I can't assess his neurology but he's certainly not neurotypical.

Elon Musk and Grimes [whose real name is Claire Boucher] welcome a baby boy

Image

The Tesla founder also shared a photo of the newborn already testing out social media filters from inside of the hospital. In a snap shared to his Twitter, Musk's son appears to be sleeping while an Instagram filter placed tattoos around his eyes and forehead.

He also responded to one Twitter follower who asked for the little one's name.

"X Æ A-12 Musk," he replied.
------------------------------------
------------------------------------

Definitely sounds like an Aspie. I remember that I wanted to name my first son's "Kazimier Casey".
That way he could go by his first name in Polish: "Kazimier"
His Polish: nickname "Kazio"
His middle name which is the Americanization of his first name "Casey"
Or by his initials "K. C."

I thought it was the perfect name. But my wife disagreed and I suspect that is why we only had girls.

------------------------------

"Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic Sung in the Year 1888" is a baseball poem written in 1888 by Ernest Thayer.

The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville nine that day;
the score stood four to two, with but one inning more to play.
And then when Cooney died at first, and Barrows did the same,
a sickly silence fell upon the patrons of the game.

A straggling few got up to go in deep despair. The rest
clung to that hope which springs eternal in the human breast;
they thought, if only Casey could get but a whack at that –
they'd put up even money, now, with Casey at the bat.

But Flynn preceded Casey, as did also Jimmy Blake,
and the former was a lulu and the latter was a cake,
so upon that stricken multitude grim melancholy sat,
for there seemed but little chance of Casey's getting to the bat.

But Flynn let drive a single, to the wonderment of all,
and Blake, the much despised, tore the cover off the ball;
and when the dust had lifted, and the men saw what had occurred,
there was Jimmy safe at second and Flynn a-hugging third.

Then from five thousand throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
it rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
it knocked upon the mountain and recoiled upon the flat,
for Casey, mighty Casey, was advancing to the bat.

There was ease in Casey's manner as he stepped into his place;
there was pride in Casey's bearing and a smile on Casey's face.
And when, responding to the cheers, he lightly doffed his hat,
no stranger in the crowd could doubt 'twas Casey at the bat.

Ten thousand eyes were on him as he rubbed his hands with dirt;
five thousand tongues applauded when he wiped them on his shirt.
Then while the writhing pitcher ground the ball into his hip,
defiance gleamed in Casey's eye, a sneer curled Casey's lip.

And now the leather-covered sphere came hurtling through the air,
and Casey stood a-watching it in haughty grandeur there.
Close by the sturdy batsman the ball unheeded sped—
"That ain't my style," said Casey. "Strike one," the umpire said.

From the benches, black with people, there went up a muffled roar,
like the beating of the storm-waves on a stern and distant shore.
"Kill him! Kill the umpire!" shouted someone on the stand;
and it's likely they'd have killed him had not Casey raised his hand.

With a smile of Christian charity great Casey's visage shone;
he stilled the rising tumult; he bade the game go on;
he signaled to the pitcher, and once more the spheroid flew;
but Casey still ignored it, and the umpire said: "Strike two."

"Fraud!" cried the maddened thousands, and Echo answered fraud;
but one scornful look from Casey and the audience was awed.
They saw his face grow stern and cold, they saw his muscles strain,
and they knew that Casey wouldn't let that ball go by again.

The sneer is gone from Casey's lip, his teeth are clenched in hate;
he pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate.
And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go,
and now the air is shattered by the force of Casey's blow.

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
the band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
and somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
but there is no joy in Mudville — mighty Casey has struck out.

Grimes is sharing the meaning behind her and Elon Musk's newborn son's name: X Æ A-12.

X, the unknown variable," the singer wrote first, adding an emoji of two crossing swords.
Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence).
A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent," she continued, adding a white heart emoji. (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (metal rat).

Later, Musk chimed in to note what many aviation experts likely already noticed. She had accidentally swapped the numbers of the SR-71 blackbird, calling it the “SR-17.”

"SR-71, but yes," Musk corrected.

I wonder if he'll set aside three hours per week to spend with his child, in addition to the three hours he's apportioned for his girlfriend, or whether that time will be combined.

He could call it the F-180. (Family = 180 minutes).

A few years ago there was a rock band called "SR 71". But after like one hit their career seems to have fizzled. They probably saw themselves as being the successors to the Irish band U2. So they took the name of the spy plane that was designed to be... the successor to the plane that U2 was named after!

Maybe he will ask a judge to decide..."Your honor, should I serve my two three hour sentences concurrently? Or in succession? And what about time already served?". :lol:

It is not one of the traits of very high performing Aspie males:

-------------------------------
When Einstein’s marriage began to break down he presented his wife with the following contract that detailed what he expected of her if the relationship was to continue:

CONDITIONS:
1. You will make sure
- that my clothes and laundry are kept in good order;
- that I will receive my three meals regularly in my room;
- that my bedroom and study are kept neat, and especially that my desk is left for my use only.
2. You will renounce all personal relations with me insofar as they are not completely necessary for social reasons. Specifically, you will forego
- my sitting at home with you;
- my going out or traveling with you.
3. You will obey the following points in your relations with me:
- you will not expect any intimacy from me, nor will you reproach me in any way; - you will stop talking to me if I request it;
- you will leave my bedroom or study immediately without protest if I request it.
4. You will undertake not to belittle me in front of our children, either through words or behavior.

Einstein’s son Eduard struggled with mental illness and attempted suicide, eventually dying in a psychiatric hospital. Einstein had not visited Eduard for more than thirty years prior to his son’s death. His other son, Hans Albert, is quoted as saying, "Probably the only project he ever gave up on was me."

I also didn't know who he was. I first became aware of him when I learnt Grimes was dating him, that's when I looked him up.

I read an article his first wife wrote about her marriage to him:
https://www.marieclaire.com/sex-love/a5 ... rter-wife/

Quote:
Still, there were warning signs. As we danced at our wedding reception, Elon told me, "I am the alpha in this relationship."

Quote:
"I am your wife," I told him repeatedly, "not your employee." "If you were my employee," he said just as often, "I would fire you."

That doesn't sound very good.

Why? He kept her because he liked her. He wasn't just calculating like she might have been. So what's the problem with it? That she disliked to share his goals?

Musk frequently acts crazy and gets away with it because he's rich and powerful. I would never suspect him of being on the spectrum.

Nikola Tesla, after whom the auto company is named, was probably on the spectrum. He got away with it because he was brilliant and rich.

I find it interesting to compare Tesla and Thomas Edison (a well-known American inventor) to contrast their diametrically opposed approaches to inventing and promoting new technology.
