Autistic person shot dead during a shooting.

A few days ago, there has been a shooting in Haringey @ London, UK. Chad Gordon was shot dead on the scene while opening the door (sadly a misindentity case) by 2 people on a moped.

This is very unjustified, regardless of who the person is if he was the person or a mistaken identity. I feel it is very wrong and very heartbreaking, especially for the friends and family that knew Chad.

That's a shame. This sort of 'collateral damage' is just as tragic as when it's a state actor that bears responsibility.

Is this a separate event to the young female who was shot by mistake in a drive past shooting incident ??


All the other details are the same ..

I’ve heard all about the girl but nothing about any male being shot ?!?!

I don't think this was a drive by. I think this guy was shot by someone knocking on his door.

I don't think this was a drive by. I think this guy was shot by someone knocking on his door.


Occasionally a trick is to knock and then fire at the peephole since you can assume the objective's head will be lined up with it. This would raise the risk of hitting the wrong person since there would be no way to confirm identity before squeezing, you'd have to just assume you're at the correct house and that the correct person is answering the door.

I would interpret that as one party knocked, victim answered and was shot at that time before the shooter returned to the scooter and fled with the getaway driver. Further, the fact that he got caught in the dome suggests that the MO matches what I described earlier and this wasn't just a random bullet aimed at someone else flying through the door. That's why they're referring to it as a matter of mistaken identity instead of the victim as a bystander.

I think your theory is more on target, Funeral. I think dragon is confusing this story with something else he read.
