Australian Army wants to teach people about the difference between men and women


The Australian Defence Force (ADF) have attempted to explain the female form in a bizarre presentation slide headlined “a woman is not a scaled-down man”.
The slide, obtained by the ABC and part of a Department of Defence presentation, depicts a female soldier wearing a combat uniform, with arrows pointing to different parts of her body explaining the female form.
An arrow leading from the woman’s groin is simply labelled “hygiene”, while “shorter and smaller bones” in female’s arms and legs are “a mechanical disadvantage”.
Female skulls are “smaller and not as thick”, while a “higher body surface area to mass ratio” means women “can lose heat quicker and at lower outside temperatures”.
These, as well as “narrower and lower” shoulders, having “a bust” and smaller feet with a “higher arch” are among the features that differentiate women from the men defending our nation.

Shrug.
It's just practical, helping to adapt routines developed for males to female body.
Since I discovered female backpacks that take narrower shoulders, existence of breasts and different hip shape into account, my comfort on trekking trips significantly improved.
Same with mountain bikes, especially saddles. Female bike saddle was a revelation to me! Finally it could work the way it's supposed to!

I don't think it's bizarre when the army notices what sport equipment producers notice, too.

I noticed they avoided the subject of thinking styles. Wise or cowardly?

I think we need one of these to explain the difference between ND/NT. Or should we do two, one each for M/F? In our case we should include what's going on in the head or it would be useless. It would get too busy if we tried to cover everyone on the spectrum in one pictorial though. Maybe we should go for a typical aspie only.

Seems like for me, boredom is the toughest boss of them all. I'm not working presently .
