It would result in fewer REPORTED cases.

This would enable Trump to hide the true extent of the Pandemic, and would set a dangerous precedent for how we handle future disease outbreaks.

Well...

If you're a pedestrian, and you wanna cross a super highway at rush hour you just...close your eyes and run like hell across the four lanes. That way you wont see the cars coming at you, and therefore...the cars will cease to exist, and therefore they cant hit you!

Same logic.

Makes sense to me. :D
