Also, focussing on someone's size\weight seems a rather insulting and judgemental thing to do when speaking about another person...

I'm not sure what the committee approved, non-sexist, non judgemental term to use is, but I'm fairly certain the one you used was not it. :D

Sounds like it would probably pass approval...Doesn't quite roll off the tongue in the same way, though.

I'd possibly change the "croaked" to "given voice" (unless the singing is known to be particularly bad), to avoid hurting the feelings of the person in question, though. :lol:
