6-month old in car seat placed near stove suffers burns in Colchester,Connecticut fire.

A baby was taken to the hospital with severe burns when the car seat they were in was placed near a stove,firefighters were called to a home on James st. after getting a report of a structure fire.

When crews arrived they found a small fire in the stove area of the home that had already been extinguished.

The child suffered burns to there head and chest when a car seat was placed to close to a stove,according to fire marshal Sean Shoemaker.

The unidentified 6 month old is in critical condition at a local hospital.

How many times does this need to be said,if you can't take care of your children,give them to someone who will.Plenty of people would happy to love a child in need of a home,this shouldn't happen in 2020.
