Cliffs: trump and his campaign said they had about a Million requests for tickets to the Tulsa rally so they’d have 19,000 people inside and 40,000 outside. The stadium is half+ empty and there were 12 people outside.
They got trolled by ~1M people across the USA who said they’d show up!
Well done, internet. ![]()

Somewhere Donald Segretti is cheering, but more about him later.
Of course, Trump is denying this happened.
If it did happen it would make for wonderful schadenfreude, the master troller gets trolled, the zoomers pull another one on another clueless ok boomer. But did it happen?
All we have at this is their word for it and a few sympathetic outlets who want to believe. There are some other plausible explanations for the embarrassing turnout.
1. Trump's popularity is at a low point at the moment.
2. People might have not wanted to go in a closed indoor space for several hours while COVID-19 is spiking in their city.
3. There was constant talk about hoards of Antifa and BLM rioters from Trump and the Republican mayor. Not many people voluntarily go to a place where they expected a repeat of Detriot 1967. In other words, Trump trolled himself.
OTOH that it did happen is plausible. The last few years have proven a number of times that woke Gen Z'rs can run circles around their older opposition by using technology to do mass political actions instantaneously. If it did happen they have become part of something that has been happening in politics since time immemorial, "dirty tricks" to manipulate crowds and thus political narrative. Buying actual tickets and not showing is a variation of the old selling fake tickets trick. That is where our friend Mr. Segretti comes in. He was the head of the dirty tricks for Nixon's reelection campaign. They did not want Senator Edmond Muskie the front runner to win the Democratic nomination. They hired people to get all dressed up as freaky looking hippies to pretend to be Muskie's supporters, even a "pro Muskie" streaker was used. The big "get" was a manufactured letter to a Republican newspaper accusing Muskie of using a slur against French-Canadians. At a press conference called in reaction to the accusation, Muskie appeared to cry which with '72 gender role expectations was fatal to Muskie's campaign.
Thing is if they can get enough people to believe this happened it does not matter if it did not happen, I would think Segretti would admire that also.

Here’s an article full of Twitter video edits and pics from his walk of shame back to the White House after his low turnout coronapalooza hate fest rally - some of these are so good! And one of the last couple clicked through to twitter so I scrolled down and read all the responses and watched the latest edits from the Lincoln project and damn they’re gold!

I don't know how many times names like "Alex Jones", "Rush Limbaugh", "Sean Hannity", and "Michael Medved" may have been used, but another ironic twist would have been to stick with names of dead Confederate generals.
The Trump campaign did not get "trolled" as much as they got "pwned"!
Shout out to Zoomers. Y’all make me so proud. ☺️ https://t.co/jGrp5bSZ9T

“On his way into the rally, Trump was reportedly warned that crowds were smaller than expected. But according to The New York Times, he was still stunned by the dismal size and "yelled at aides backstage while looking at the endless rows of empty blue seats in the upper bowl of the stadium."”
This brings me great joy! The ultimate in schadenfreude.
Well, at least until the next time trump is exposed as a giant loser. Hopefully the biggest ever will be in November.. and then gets repeatedly outdone in the courts afterwards. ![]()

Now Liberty Hangouts is saying that the reason why so many people didn't show up were because they were watching it online, were afraid of the Corona, afraid of the violent protesters. But that doesn't explain why Trump was pissed that not everyone showed up and there were lot of empty seats.
Liberty hangouts also said that the people were blocked from getting there.
But of course Trump supports will say any crazy things to justify things that happened to Trump.

The Trumpsters seem to realize now that they have become unpopular (to say the least). They have grown fearful, and few dare proclaim their loyalty to Mr. Trump in public unless they do so in large numbers. What happened to all their bravado from 4 years ago?
