Obviously not. These people are nuts - but it is kind of interesting what they believe and why they believe it. Hopefully these are just a couple of rare examples vs there actually being a whole lot of people who believe any such nonsense. Things are not going to have much chance of improving if there are actually large groups of people who don’t even believe the problem exists in the first place.

The couple escaped before police arrived on the scene. A photo provided to investigators by a bystander clearly shows their car -- with the license plate.

She’s seems stunned to learn at the end of the video that they had a permit for the mural and it isn’t vandalism.
So dumb. I wonder how stunned she’s going to look when police track her down by her licence plate?

How many times prior to this are you aware of permits being issued for painting messages\murals\whatever on the road? Not so surprising she appeared stunned to learn one had been issued when you look at it from that angle...
On a related note: allowing a permit for this to be painted on the road may potentially leave the council\permit issuer open to having to permit other murals\messages\political opinions on the road that may not align with BLM in the future...Having set a precedent, it wil be a lot harder to deny permits in the future.
