Egon (the gangs stubborn leader , colorful language)
Benny (whimsical member of the gang)
Kjell (the scapegoat of the gang , to make matters worse he gets yelled at constantly by his wife Valborg)
Basse (Kjells son and gets more involved in the plots when hes a teen)
Hermansen (pompous police chief whos often outwitted by Egon)
Holm (Hermansens 2nd in command , pretends to support Hermansen but wants to be police chief himself)
Dynamite Harry (alcoholic demolition expert , in 1 film he becomes the obnoxious computer wiz "Data Harry".......later Harry stops drinking)
Knut Bohwim (director almost all of the norwegian films) , who also passed recently , took a huge gamble and even pawned his house to finance these films
