I woke up at 2.30 am this morning to steady rain.
It was still raining when I got up at 5.15 am. 8)

I could hear the rain on the roof most of last night *bliss*

Tomorrow looks to have minimal but there's 8-15mm forecast for Sunday. Bring it on!

Does Tim Flannery live in Victoria?
This could be the reason the rain isn't coming.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Victoria kooler, overall, than Sydney?
Sydney is known for its humidity, btw.
We have air conditioning, so it doesn't really affect us. 8)

It's been cool and cloudy up here over the last couple of days, with patchy rain on and off for the last fortnight.

A nice reprieve before summer proper.

I'm not sure if tim Flannery lives in victoria Pepe, we are cooler here but we have been getting humidity in recent years,
I have an air conditioner as well which is on at the moment.

I have never been keen on hot weather, hence autumn being my favourite season. 8)

You live in Melbourne? open a window, there's like 100mm of rain and floods

I really miss living in Melbourne at times
Needless to say I had air conditioning and a large balcony door I could open to catch the breeze.

Tomorrow's forecast for here has been downgraded to 5-10mm most likely in the afternoon and evening.

Same.
Downgraded from 20-40 to 10-20.
Flannery is trying hard, but no cigar.

Regarding living in Melbourne:
Damn, I am so relieved I dodged *that* bullet.
I was seriously considering a move there about 6 years ago.
Talk about almost walking into a socialist king-hit. 8O
