So the court officially decided that forcing people to listen to Baby Shark is cruelty.

Never heard of that song.

It was way out of line; an abuse of their position of authority.

West Palm Beach, Florida also used to the song keep away homeless people from sleeping near the event center. They also blared another children's song "Raining Tacos."

I happen to like the song.

And prisoners are too pampered these days anyway. I'd rather be handcuffed to a wall with Baby Shark playing than being treated like the Jews were in the Nazi camps. That is torture, and they didn't even deserve it.

They should have just used this song instead:

Childish, but it's hardly waterboarding.

If there is a chance at all of having to listen to that in jail, I would expect the crime rate to drop dramatically.
Mission accomplished.

It might not be "cruel", but it would certainly be "unusual punishment".
