Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh suggested Tuesday that it wasn't the Supreme Court's role to invalidate the entire sprawling, 900-page Affordable Care Act, even if one or more provisions are deemed unconstitutional, signaling the key parts of Obamacare will survive the latest court challenge.

"Trumpcare"?  A health-care plan named after a President who knowingly lies to the American people about the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic, who has turned his back on over 230,000 Americans who died from the coronavirus, who blatantly ignores science and public health experts, and who says the highly infectious coronavirus would magically go away on November 4, without a plan to treat it or contain it?

It warms my heart to see that even with the most aggressive court-packing by a president in my lifetime (I wasn't alive when Carter was in office), they still can't get the SCotUS to bend to their whims. It calls to mind when they failed to repeal it the first time and conservative pundits were in an uproar that their judges weren't doing what they appointed them to do.

Yes, America needs universal healthcare like the rest of the west. Not these corporate-friendly non-solutions.

There are two types of people: One that seeks only to enrich the finances of already-wealthy people, and the other that seeks to enrich the quality of life for all people.

The former is against "Obamacare" and the latter is for it.

Obamacare must be made better, though.

If one takes a look at the "Bronze" plans, one would conclude that they'd rather not have health insurance than have to participate in the "Bronze" plans.

I'm talking 40% out of pocket for hospital stays, and something like a $7,500 annual deductible. All for something like $300 a month (or more).
